Hey Bulldogs! John Sonmez from Bulldog Mindset Here, where I teach you how to go from the Victim Mindset to the Bulldog Mindset.
Today's topic is something that have been requested by many of you, HO TO BE A MAN and Stop being anxious, HOW TO MAN UP and FACE YOUR FEARS, how to overcome your FEARS!
Fear isn't something you should be ashamed of, I personally had a lot of fears, and I personally overcame a lot of fears, I used to be afraid of the dark, I used to be scared of being abducted by aliens, I used to be scared of flying in airplanes, talking to girls etc...
Without going through all of them, I had a lot! I had to man up and face those fears, it wasn't easy but it's doable.
First thing you should understand is that you can't control your fears meaning if you want to face your fears you can't just do it directly, you can't actively control them.
If something happen it doesn't go to you conscious mind, you get a subconscious reaction to that where you end up feeling afraid or scared.
Fear is uncontrollable, understanding this help your avoid useless ways to overcome your fears, like blocking your fears or try to educate yourself about your fears.
Fears and phobias are irrational, so trying to conquer them through rational means will get you nowhere.
But what you must understand is that you can control courage, you see courage is what you can control, courage cannot exist without fear, courage is action despite fear!
Being afraid is fine, but actively facing that fear by having courage is the only that can get you through that fear.
That wasn't exposure therapy but them directly!
So the big thing guys is that you need to have courage in order to man up and face your face, a lot of you guys want to find ways around this and cheat the system, however t doesn't work that way guys.
